Hello! My name is Angela Higgins, and I am the CEO and Principal Designer at Nourished Home.
My career has spanned more than 20 years, beginning with an Interior Design diploma and years learning the ropes at successful design studios before starting out on my own. In addition to design, my other passion is wellness; I have studied Mindful Living and the Eastern practice of Feng Shui, allowing me to combine Eastern and Western ideas to create spaces that are functional, comfortable, and beautiful. I have always valued the beauty of functional and comfortable homes without forgoing quality to create an environment that I call "livable luxury". I strive to help my clients create environments that not only reflect their story and their personality but also bring them joy, calm, comfort, and beauty.
The journey of interior design and home renovation can be emotionally taxing, but at Nourished Home, we prioritize well-being by ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience. With our full service offering, we walk alongside our clients through the entire process, from beginning to end. We manage designs, selections, sourcing, communication, ordering, and oversee the design implementation to ensure the clients’ vision is flawlessly executed and exceeds expectations.
Outside of my career, I am fortunate to have three kids who call me 'Mom', and an amazing and supportive husband. One of my favourite ways to unwind is reading, and one of my favourite holidays is Halloween!
Overall, at our core, Nourished Home focuses not just on aesthetics but on creating spaces that nurture connection, relaxation, and true nourishment for our clients' lifestyles and goals.
